We’re so excited to share that author and illustrator Salina Yoon will be visiting Discovery Elementary on Thursday, December 18 from 9:00–10:30 AM to meet our TK–2nd grade students!
Salina Yoon is the award-winning creator of Penguin and Pinecone, Duck, Duck, Porcupine!, and many more beloved picture books. She’ll be sharing her newest story, I Like Cheese — a funny and heartwarming book about friendship, trying new things, and (of course!) cheese!
Families can order a signed copy of I Like Cheese for $11 (a special discounted price just for Discovery families!) through the Discovery PTO website: www.discoverypto.com/authorvisit
Order Deadline: Tuesday, December 2nd
- Books ordered by this date will be signed by the author and delivered to classrooms after the visit.
- Orders placed after Dec. 2nd will still receive the discount but will not be signed.
